Freed from rawbolts, wires, pipes overgrowth and other abuse through the ages, the Wignacourt acqueducts are now the resplendent monument basking in glory as they once were. In a recent press conference by the MInistry for Resporces and Infrastructure Ninu Zammit, the completion of the acqueduct restoration was announced. The process which has taken a number of years, involved government restoration workers and the local councils of B'Kara St. Venera and Attard in particular who all footed part of the bill. The result will now be accentuated by a lighting system which will be installed in the near future. At B'Kara we are proud to have contributed to the revival of this national monument.
